Wheelhouse Publishers was an independent publishing house. As an early entrant into the e-book space, we offered opportunities for talented writers to find success in the highly competitive fiction book publishing industry.

I was responsible for all aspects of digital product research, strategy, and design for author websites and digital book marketing campaigns. Our digital assets drove engagement rates that reached 100,000s of readers, generated 1 million e-book downloads, and exceeded industry benchmarks by 10-20%, with an ROI of 162%.

Roles: Principal Designer & Founder | Jun 2000 – Aug 2021

Creative Digital UX delivered innovative web designs for start-ups, small businesses, and non-profits to create outstanding user experiences and help clients achieve their online goals. Our work on an independent film’s website was recognized as an outstanding example of a documentary film website.

Housed at the Harvard Kennedy School, CID works across Harvard University and a global network of researchers and practitioners to build, convene, and deploy talent to address the world’s most pressing challenges.

At CID I managed a team supporting center-wide research and analysis, often in demanding environments as we were at the forefront of consulting on global economic events. In that role I designed and was webmaster for the center’s original research and public websites (remember Dreamweaver, anyone?).
