My Story

Bridging economics, strategy, and human-centered design.

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of economics, product strategy, design leadership, and workflow optimization.

I began as an economist at S&P Global and Harvard, analyzing systems, incentives, and operational constraints. That foundation shaped how I approach digital product development today: through systems thinking, behavioral insight, and a relentless focus on efficiency.

Jay Lawlor Profile

Over two decades of product leadership.

For 25+ years, I have led product design and workflow modernization. At CVS Health I led design and team management that delivered measurable impact at enterprise scale.

I’ve also built digital products for independent publishers, startups, nonprofits, and creative businesses — including platforms that reached hundreds of thousands of readers and drove over 1M digital downloads.

Today, I run a digital product strategy and workflow optimization practice that blends consulting, fractional leadership, and custom product development.
